Learn what to expect when you visit Compassion in Action’s Life Room

We are so glad you’re interested in visiting us, and we have created this page to help you learn what to expect when you schedule your first appointment with us. We are a non-profit ministry providing parents and their young children with practical resources such as clothing and baby supplies FREE OF CHARGE!

If it is your first time, you will want to schedule a First Time Visit so we can meet you!

Compassion in Action first visit

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a greeter who will sign you in.

Next, you will have a brief one-on-one conversation with a team member so we can get to know you and your needs. They will also share a few encouraging scriptures from the Word of God.

Afterward, you will be shown the “Life Room,” where you can choose baby clothing, diapers, and other essential items at no cost.

Before you leave, you will have the opportunity to sign up for our online Bible study.

Compassion in Action Bible Study

If you’ve visited us before and would like to come back, you can attend our online Bible study and then have a chance to select items from the Life Room at a scheduled time.

After your first visit, we will text you with the date and time of our next Bible study.

We will meet as a group to learn, share, and do life together. You can join us from the comfort of your own home or any other convenient location. Simply grab a cup of coffee, find a cozy spot, and log in to the online Bible study.

The Life Room is currently stocked with a hand-picked selection of new and gently used items such as baby clothing, diapers, blankets, bibs, hats, nursing covers, bottles, socks, baby food and other baby accessories.

Anyone who is in need, pregnant, or raising young children.

Schedule a First Visit appointment with Compassion in Action. The first appointment usually lasts about 30 minutes. At your visit, you will have a chance to talk briefly one on one with an individual to help us to get to know you and your needs. They will also share a few scriptures with you through the Word of God.

You will then be shown the “Life Room” and given some baby clothing, diapers, and needed accessories.

Clothing, diapers, baby gear, swings, bouncers, etc. (as available).

No. We would love for you to join us at church, but attendance at our church is NOT required to benefit from the Life Room.
